Unna (dpa / lnw) – A 48-year-old had to hand in his driver’s license in Unna – and then drove home by car. The man came to the fine office on Wednesday to hand in his driver’s license within the imposed period and to serve a driving ban. An employee handled the case and said goodbye to the 48-year-old. From the window she then saw how he went to his car and drove off. When the alarmed police later confronted him, he explained: He didn’t know how else to get home. The police officers had little sympathy and initiated proceedings for driving without a license.
