Cathy Hummels celebrates her 35th birthday in Thailand while filming the new season of “Battle of the Reality Stars”. She takes this date as an opportunity to look back at the past and draw her own conclusions from many a low point.

Cathy Hummels just celebrated her 35th birthday far from home. The influencer and presenter is currently in Thailand, where the fourth season of the RTLzwei show “Kampf der Realitystars” is being recorded. Hummels recently had to move his son Ludwig’s birthday there. On the occasion of her own anniversary, the ex-wife of professional soccer player Mats Hummels is now taking stock.

First, she was surprised by the film crew on site with a bouquet of flowers and a cake. However, it was not a sugar bomb, but a healthy version with broccoli “according to Thai tradition”, as Hummels explained in her Instagram story. There were also videos of her parents and her son Ludwig, who serenaded her. With a photo in the self-made serviette dress with a golden heart balloon and Happy Birthday lettering in the background, she thanked her for the numerous congratulations that she received.

A little later, Hummels then uploaded a balancing update. Two photos in a bikini outfit said: “I’ve been 35 for a day. Do you know what? I want to be Cathy. Here on Instagram as well as in my real life. Important here: everything I do, do me because it’s my opinion. I have an opinion and I stand by it.” If there’s one thing she’s learned in her life so far, “it’s that I can only be happy if I can give myself that feeling.” She is continuously working on her self-esteem, the moderator continues. If you don’t like what you see on her Instagram account, feel free to leave and follow someone else, she added.

Most recently, Cathy Hummels had to take a lot of criticism again and again. Sometimes for her body, which some people find too thin. Then again for their attitude towards certain things. She recently made it public that she was no longer vegan because she didn’t think it was healthy. She did not address the fact that a vegan lifestyle should primarily be about avoiding animal suffering. And her questionable commitment to more mental health with a yoga and wellness trip accompanied by media caused a lot of negative headlines.
