The mayor of the Ourense municipality of Barbadás, Xosé Carlos Valcarcel Doval, has suffered a hack in his mobile device’s address book and has asked his contacts for money through WhatsApp.
“If you receive a message from my phone number asking you to contact me or asking for money, it is a fraud. My agenda has been hacked,” the councilor reported through his social networks.
Given this, several people have responded to the publication and have stated that they “received” said message.
