The trio of moderators from “Because they don’t know what’s happening” is decimated again: Thomas Gottschalk is missing from the RTL show on Saturday evening. A cardboard cutout and a disguised Oliver Pocher, who in turn has to replace another replacement, bring replacements.

Again unusual pictures in “Because you don’t know what’s happening”: For the second time in a row, the moderator triumvirate of Barbara Schöneberger, Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch was not complete on the RTL show on Saturday evening. At least the latter returned to the TV studio alongside Schöneberger, who had to do without both colleagues a week earlier: Jauch had survived his corona infection and was back in the game.

Thomas Gottschalk was missing for the second week in a row, which the broadcaster announced in advance. The reason is his “Wetten, dass..?” engagement next Saturday, November 19th. “ZDF is jealous when she sees her best man two weeks before ‘Wetten, dass..?’ on RTL and threatened to withdraw my love if they caught me cheating. I fully understand that!” RTL quoted the moderator as saying.

But the creators of “Because they don’t know what’s happening” knew how to help themselves: Gottschalk was quickly replaced by a cardboard figure and a colleague who had already helped Schöneberger last week: the 44-year-old entertainer Oliver Pocher. He entered the stage in an unusual look, disguised as Giovanni Zarrella.

The singer was supposed to support Schöneberger and Jauch as a temporary moderator, but had to call in sick just like Jauch a week earlier. RTL once again resorted to his jack-of-all-trades Pocher, who even interpreted the song “Bella Ciao” with a glued-on beard and a fake Italo accent.
