Repsol refinery in La Coruña is manufacturing biofuel with used cooking oil, according to the company regarding the activity that is undertaken in this area.

In this regard, it requires that the company has increased its production capacity of renewable diesel from waste with the processing of 500 tons of fritter oil of national origin as raw material.

The refinery of A Coruña has a consolidated production of low carbon footprint fuels, which adds this new typology of biofuel, “driving the circular economy to achieve the goal of zero net emissions in the year 2050,” he adds.

On the other hand, it frames these actions within a “step further in the decarbonization of fuels for road transport using waste that is generated in Spain”.
