Görlitz (dpa / sn) – The suspended head of a high school in East Saxony has to go to prison. The Federal Court of Justice (BGH) has rejected the appeal of the accused against his conviction for serious sexual abuse of children, as the Görlitz District Court announced on Monday. The imprisonment sentence imposed is therefore pending execution. At the end of April, the youth chamber sentenced the man to a total of three years and one month in prison in connection with the sexual abuse of wards.
The judges considered it proven that in May 2021 the married man from near Bautzen forced a 13-year-old girl to undress in the school library, then photographed her lying naked on a table and then assaulted her. The then 53-year-old had denied the allegations in court.
