Hartenstein (dpa/sn) – Four people were injured in an accident after an overtaking maneuver east of Zwickau, two of them seriously. Despite the existing ban on overtaking, a driver wanted to overtake a car with his car on Friday morning on a state road near Hartenstein (Zwickau district), the police said. When oncoming traffic appeared, the 65-year-old is said to have driven back into the right lane.
According to the police, the car is said to have hit a small van, which rolled over several times and ended up on a tree. In addition, the trailer on the 65-year-old’s car came loose and caused a head-on collision of two other vehicles. Two other cars were damaged by flying debris.
