Gardelegen (dpa/sa) – At a speed of 207 kilometers per hour, a speeder rushed through a police speed check near Gardelegen (Altmarkkreis Salzwedel) on Tuesday. 100 kilometers per hour were allowed on the bypass, according to the police.

According to the police, the speed of 520 vehicles was measured between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. 25 drivers were driving too fast, 8 of which were fines. The leader, who was driving twice as fast as allowed, had to face a fine and a driving ban.
