Gräfenhainichen (dpa/sa) – An 80-year-old pedestrian died in a traffic accident in Gräfenhainichen in the district of Wittenberg. The pensioner was hit by a 68-year-old’s car while crossing an intersection on Wednesday evening, the police said on Thursday morning. Despite several attempts at resuscitation, the 80-year-old died on the spot from her serious injuries. The cause of the accident was initially unclear.
