Warsleben (dpa/sa) – A barn with vehicles caught fire in the Börde district. This resulted in damage of around 150,000 euros, as the police announced on Monday in Haldensleben. Accordingly, the owner’s 25-year-old son was woken up by a loud bang on Monday night in the town of Warsleben. Even before the building was on fire, he was able to drive aside the tractors parked next to it. There were several motorcycles, a Trabant and other vehicles in the warehouse. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to surrounding homes. It is being investigated on suspicion of arson, it was said.
