Magdeburg (dpa/sa) – The state audit office reiterated its criticism of the Magdeburg University Hospital for a controversial FFP2 mask business worth several hundred thousand euros on Thursday. The auditors complained in December that the clinic’s approach to the transaction had contradicted the basic regulations of public procurement law. The opinion of the hospital has now been finally evaluated. Even taking into account the opposing points of view, the ratings are “unreservedly adhered to”, the Court of Auditors announced on Thursday. “Principles of transparency, non-discrimination and competition were ignored”.
