Quedlinburg (dpa/sa) – In Quedlinburg, a drunk 29-year-old drove a van into a house wall and then fled from the scene of the accident. The police were able to find the man shortly thereafter on Friday evening, as the Harz police station announced on Saturday. The 29-year-old was under the influence of alcohol and did not have a valid driver’s license. The damage to the house, which is still habitable, was initially estimated at 20,000 euros.
