Leipzig (dpa/sa) – People in Saxony-Anhalt can expect a changeable weekend. As a spokesman for the German Weather Service (DWD) said, Saturday will start with showers and thunderstorms at 29 degrees. In the night to Sunday it stays dry and cools down to up to 15 degrees. Sunday brings a lot of sunshine with up to 33 degrees. From noon onwards it will become cloudy until the first showers and thunderstorms move over Saxony-Anhalt in the evening. This announces a cold front, which, according to DWD information, leads to an increased risk of severe weather. However, the expected rain will not be enough to end the severe drought.
