Ballenstedt (dpa/sa) – A masked man attacked a pharmacy in Ballenstedt (Harz) with an ax and stole prescription drugs. The man entered the pharmacy on Wednesday and, armed with an axe, demanded the release of a strong prescription painkiller, a police spokeswoman said on Thursday. After receiving the medication, he fled. According to the police, nobody was injured. The perpetrator has not yet been identified, the spokeswoman said. The investigations continued.
