Halle (dpa/sa) – In the spring of this year, around 152,000 children were cared for in around 1800 day-care centers in Saxony-Anhalt. Another 800 children were in publicly funded day care, as the State Statistical Office in Halle announced on Friday. That is around 1800 more children in day care than in the previous year and the highest number of children cared for since the survey began in 2006.
