Halle (dpa/sa) – Six warm cafés will be set up in the city of Halle at the beginning of the new year. These are freely accessible offers for people who, due to rising costs for heating and energy, are reaching their financial limits and are therefore having to cut back severely. More cafés are to follow, as the evangelical church district and the volunteer agency Halle-Saalkreis announced on Friday as initiators. In the warm cafés in the community rooms, there is also the possibility, for example, for children to do their homework and families to play. It’s about people meeting and being there for each other. Volunteers are welcome to get involved.
