Halle (dpa/sa) – The Saxony-Anhalt Hospital Society has requested financial support for clinics in need. Insolvencies could only be avoided with further help from the state government, warned the managing director of the hospital company, Gösta Heelemann, in an interview with Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk on Wednesday. According to him, the hospitals have been underfunded for years. According to Heelemann, the support from the federal government is not enough.
