Möckern (dpa/sa) – A 24-year-old truck driver left the road on Autobahn 2 near Theeßen (Jerichower Land district). He is said to have fallen asleep while driving, police said on Wednesday. The man lost control of his vehicle; the truck overturned onto the right lane of the A2. The 24-year-old was able to get out of the truck and was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The police seized his driver’s license. According to the police, individual lanes may be blocked between the Theeßen junction and the Wüstenforst car park in the next few hours due to salvage work.
