Leipzig (dpa / sn) – A person was seriously injured in a car fire in Leipzig. The cause of the fire on Monday evening was initially unclear, a police spokeswoman said. Passers-by became aware of the burning car near the Monument to the Battle of the Nations. The notified emergency services rescued a person seriously injured from the flames. The Firefighters put out the fire. According to the police on Tuesday morning, the cause of the fire is now being determined.
