Wittichenau (dpa / sn) – A 60-year-old died in a traffic accident on federal highway 96 near Wittichenau in the Bautzen district. The driver left the road on Tuesday morning for reasons that have not yet been clarified, the police said. The car collided with several trees before coming to a stop against a tree. The driver was trapped in the car and died at the scene of the accident. The police and fire brigade were on duty. The B96 was closed for several hours.
