Meissen/Dresden (dpa/sn) – After a field fire near Meissen, seven firefighters sought medical treatment. The police in Dresden announced on Tuesday that they had been examined on suspicion of smoke inhalation. The residents of several houses had to temporarily leave their homes because of heavy smoke. The fire was probably ignited by sparks during ground work on Monday afternoon. The amount of property damage is not yet known.
