Leipzig/Wurzen (dpa/sn) – Nine months after a dead baby was found in Wurzen, the boy’s mother has to answer to the Leipzig Regional Court from Friday (9 a.m.). The public prosecutor’s office accuses the 32-year-old of murder for base motives. Accordingly, she killed the newborn between the end of October and mid-November because she saw it as a disruptive factor in her current life plans. The accused comes from Hungary and had been working in Germany at the time of the crime.
The dead boy was found on November 10th during a police operation in an apartment in Wurzen. The autopsy of the child had shown that the child was born viable and was killed at a point after birth that cannot yet be precisely determined.
