Dresden (dpa / sn) – A senior from Dresden was cheated by fraudsters on the Internet for 140,000 euros. The perpetrators contacted the 79-year-old over the Internet after a failed share deal and offered him to make up for his losses by buying more shares they recommended, the police said on Monday. When the senior lost track of the transactions, he is said to have given up control of his account. The perpetrators took advantage of this fact. The 79-year-old turned to his son, who called the police. This determined now because of computer fraud. The exact course of events is being determined.
