Leipzig (dpa/sn) – With fog, frost and ice, winter keeps Saxony under control at the weekend. As reported by the German Weather Service in Leipzig, it will hesitantly relax at three to six degrees on Friday afternoon. There is most sunshine in the upper Ore Mountains. Where it stays in permanent gray in the upper mountains, the temperatures are only around zero degrees.
It continues on Saturday mostly overcast with occasional rain or drizzle at five to seven degrees, in the mountains at minus one to four degrees. A gusty west to north-west wind will blow at times. Storm gusts can occur on the Fichtelberg.
Sunday will also be mostly cloudy with two to four degrees. It rains at times, the rain can turn into sleet. It’s snowing in the mountains, where minus three to one degree is expected.
