Dresden (dpa/sn) – The “Rallye Elbflorenz” started on Friday for the tenth time. “Except for a few rain showers, everything is going according to plan on the route,” said project coordinator Eric Pflug. The field of participants consists of 200 vintage cars, which drove from Dresden Airport through various cities in Saxon Switzerland and the Eastern Ore Mountains before reaching their destination, the Alberthafen in Dresden, in the afternoon.
On the second day of the rally, the historical vehicles are to make their way along the Elbe, including through Meißen and Riesa (Meissen district). The rally then ends at Dresden Airport with a moderated crossing of the finish line.
