Saxony: Stones were thrown at the CDU constituency office in Leipzig

Leipzig (dpa/sn) – Unknown perpetrators attacked a CDU constituency office in the Grünau district of Leipzig with stones. All of the windows in the office had been damaged, said Andreas Nowak, a member of the state parliament. Safety glass prevented worse. At the time of the attack between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, no one was in the office. The police secured evidence. Stones were found in front of the office, said a police spokesman. Detected in all directions. A political background cannot be ruled out.
