Leipzig (dpa/sn) – People in Saxony can enjoy the sun again on Thursday before the weekend brings rain. As reported by the German Weather Service, there are some wafts of fog and clouds over the Free State in the morning, which will clear up in the course of the morning. Around noon, the sun comes out again and again with a maximum temperature of up to 17 degrees.
In the night to Friday, increasingly dense cloud fields are moving in from the west, bringing long-lasting showers with them. Temperatures drop to 4 degrees at night. Some fresh gusts and a strong south-east wind are expected from the Eastern Ore Mountains to East Lusatia.
Friday also starts uncomfortable with lots of clouds and isolated rain showers, with temperatures around 19 degrees. In the mountains, a moderate southerly wind ensures slightly cooler temperatures of between 9 and 12 degrees.
