Hainichen (dpa/sn) – Thieves slashed open truck trailers at a freeway parking lot on the A4 near Hainichen and fled with the loot, which was estimated to be worth 100,000 euros. As the police announced on Wednesday, the perpetrators cut open the tarpaulins of two semi-trailers in the “Rossauer Wald” parking lot on Tuesday night. They stole nutritional supplements from one of the trailers. They did not remove anything from the second trailer, but opened several packages from an online mail order company, causing total property damage of several thousand euros. The Chemnitz criminal police are investigating.
