Wechselburg (dpa/sn) – When two cars collided near Wechselburg (Middle Saxony district), three people were injured on Sunday morning. As a police spokesman said on Monday, an 87-year-old driver had disregarded the priority of oncoming traffic at a narrowing of the road. He then collided head-on with the oncoming car of a 35-year-old. The 87-year-old and the 31-year-old passenger of the 35-year-old were trapped and seriously injured. The 35-year-old suffered minor injuries. A helicopter took the seriously injured to a nearby hospital.
