Wiedemar (dpa/sn) – Three people were seriously injured in a rear-end collision on Autobahn 9 between Halle and Wiedemar (Northern Saxony district). A semitrailer broke down on the road towards Munich late Monday evening and stopped, the police said on Tuesday. A pickup truck hit the trailer truck and a car hit the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck and the driver and passenger of the car were seriously injured. The police did not give any information about the age of the injured.
