Dresden (dpa/sn) – After two years of sales bans, dealers have prepared well for the sale of fireworks this year. “We expect that the sales in this regard will be around the level of the last pre-Corona year 2019,” predicted the general manager of the Saxony Trade Association, René Glaser, on Thursday. Customers can look forward to a large selection of rockets, batteries, party bangers and more: “There’s something for everyone here.”
Nothing stands in the way of a colorful start to 2023, said Glaser. However, it is important that consumers only buy the fireworks from trustworthy dealers and never on the black market. “Only then is it actually guaranteed that the fireworks items are tested and safe.”
