A Seattle girl got more than she bargained for when she purchased a crochet apparel in a thrift store and found that a kilogram of cocaine indoors, police said.
The girl bought the kit into crochet creature hats about 3 litres Sunday from the town’s Greenwood area, the Seattle Police Department said in a news release.
However, if the crochet hobbyist opened the kit, then she discovered that a suspicious package that has been encased in yellow rubber with”100 percent” composed on the exterior.
Authorities didn’t say how the crochet apparel and narcotics ended up in the thrift store.
A similar episode happened in Arizona on Sunday when parents bought their kid a toy glow pig in a thrift store and discovered a sandwich bag comprising 5,000 tablets of guessed fentanyl inside.
The parents called police and handed over the medication to officers, as stated by the Phoenix Police Department.
Officials cautioned buyers to”scrutinize all used and opened things” before buying them.
