This Wednesday, April 19, and for a few minutes, a computer error caused the Constitution and all the laws of Spanish regulations to appear on the website of the Official State Gazette (BOE). Specifically, the legend “repealed provision” appeared next to his name.

The Iberley legal database was in charge of detecting this computer error and, according to their website, they immediately informed the BOE, which corrected the error after about 20 minutes.

At first it seemed that the error affected the Constitution and eight other core laws, such as the Civil Code, the General Law of Social Security or the Workers’ Statute, but later it was seen that it had affected all the laws of the Spanish regulations, about 12,000.

In any case, it was a computer error in the BOE computer database that had no legal effect.
