The Peinador airport from Vigo has been closed again this Tuesday due to a hole in the runway, a problem similar to the one detected on the last day of 2021 and last summer, in July.
AENA has reported on its official Twitter account that the aerodrome is “inoperative” and that repair work has begun in order to recover activity as soon as possible.
At the moment, once its activity has been canceled since Monday, air traffic is being transferred to the Santiago de Compostela terminal.
The airport manager indicates in the aforementioned social network that for now two flights from Madrid and one from Barcelona have been diverted to the Galician capital.
