Stefon Diggs, wide receiver, signed a four year contract extension this offseason. This increased his chances of spending his remaining playing time in Buffalo but also decreased his chance of achieving another of his football goals.
Diggs’ brother Trevon has never been on the same team that Diggs, and Diggs is about to enter his third season as Cowboys cornerback. Diggs, the younger of his brothers, intercepted 11 passes last season for Dallas and he said that he doesn’t believe the Cowboys will let him go any time soon.
The wideout hopes to wear the same uniform on ice as his brother, so he has made plans.
Stefon Diggs stated, via Alex Prewitt at SI.com, “I was like…that’s out reach now.” “Maybe in his next life or something. I want to end with the Bills. I know he won’t be going anywhere soon.
Trevon Diggs said to Prewitt that he believes teaming up might happen eventually. However, for the moment, the Bills’ 2023 meeting with the Cowboys in Buffalo seems like their best chance at playing on the same field.
