In the exhibition “Window Shopping” edit nine students of the teaching area scenery/Scenic space of Professor Heike Schuppelius, Nina Zoller and Michaela force artistically questions of production, of the material, the readability, the importance and the development of the clothing as a means of expression and communication, as it is called in the notes to the Show.

“spirit of freedom – freedom of mind”

The exhibition is part of the project “spirit of freedom – freedom of the mind” of the culture region Frankfurt-Rhein-Main, and it is also a contribution to the “interventions” of the College of design. The “interventions”project has developed the University of the arts, because of the traditional HfG-tour this year, fails because of the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting restrictions. The first part of the “interventions” has started and ends on 12. July.

The Works are to be found in shop Windows in the area between Kaiser road, Berlin street, Bieberer street/market square and passage road. The exhibition Flyer is available that contains a map in which each window are recorded. The Flyer also serves as a binder for postcards, which show the individual Work and short introductory texts offer. The binders are in front of the participating stores, in the city hall foyer as well as in the town house.
