Four new guests appear on the set of Pasapalabra to squeeze all their knowledge, reflexes and good humor to help the contestants add seconds for the final test of El Rosco. On this occasion, the celebrities who parade through the Antena 3 program are Gemma Mengual, Andrés Suárez, Isabel Forner and Daniel Muriel. Let’s get to know this latest guest a little better.
Daniel Muriel was born in Valladolid 46 years ago. He began studying English Philology, studies that he set aside to train in drama at the Royal School of Dramatic Art (RESAD). He made his debut as a comic actor in 1999 at the hands of José Luis Moreno in the Noche de Fiesta program.
Daniel Muriel appeared sporadically in series such as Periodistas, Hospital Central, El comisario or Aquí no hay quien viva.
However, the turning point in the Valladolid’s career came in 2007 with Escenas de matrimonio. The idea for this Telecinco series arose precisely on Fiesta Night and in sketch format, where Muriel already played the young couple’s husband. The two seasons in which the actor gave life to Miguel Costa was the springboard for the actor to achieve popularity.
Without leaving the small screen, Daniel Muriel found important roles in series like Gym Tony, Six Sisters or Serve and Protect. More recently, he has played Manolo Escobar in the series Cristo y Rey, a biographical drama that narrates the relationship between the tamer Ángel Cristo and the actress Bárbara Rey, while continuing his work in Amar es para siempre.
Regarding cinema, he has participated in more than a dozen films, his work being highly recognized in AzulOscuroCasiNegro, under the novel direction of Daniel Sánchez Arévalo.
The actor from Valladolid has also been seen in plays such as The Importance of Being Earnest, Knock Knock, Nero or the musical Cabaret, among other productions.
Of his private life, his wedding in 2019 with Candela Serrat, daughter of Joan Manuel Serrat, stands out.
