Since last Friday the Antena 3 program, presented by Roberto Leal, also has an important group of guest characters. Along with Inma del Moral, Juan Peña and Lucrecia, José Manuel Zapata also joins.

The Spanish tenor returns to the Pasapalabra program where he was already at the end of last summer 2022.

José Manuel Zapata (Granada, 1973), with a long professional career, has performed in the best opera houses in the world such as the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Liceo Theater in Barcelona, ​​the Berlin Opera, the Chatêlet Theater in Paris, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, the Deutsche Oper Rhein, among others.

His first professional debut was in the Valencia choir after previous training both in Madrid and in his native Granada. Subsequently, as a soloist, she made her debut in 2001 in Rossini’s opera Il turco in Italia at the Teatro Campoamor in Oviedo.

He confesses that as a child he sang the songs of José Luis Perales and Carlos Gardel. In 2008 she also shared a CD with Pasión Vega in the musical project Tango: Mano a Mano.

Zapata also stands out for his work as a coach for companies, lecturer and radio host. In 2021 he also presented his first book: Music for life. From Bach to Radiohead (Planet).
