Pasapalabra continues to dominate the television schedule in the afternoons of this summer of 2023. There is no truce even in the summer season.

Since last Friday the Antena 3 program, presented by Roberto Leal, also has an important group of guest characters. Along with Inma del Moral, José Manuel Zapata and Lucrecia, Juan Peña also joins.

The singer from Jerez made his debut last week at Pasapalabra with good reflexes and also a lot of luck in the contest.

Juan Peña (Jerez, 1980) always wanted to be a singer and also write his own songs. When he was a little over 16 years old, he set out to conquer the heart of Madrid to the rhythm of rumbas, while studying Administrative Management.

His first group was called Dukende, specialized in events and parties. However, in 2007 he decided to start his solo career with the recording of his first album.

One of the singles from this album became the B.S.O. of the daily series of Canal Sur Arrayán. Even Juan Peña participated as an actor in one of its chapters.

Since then, Peña has released six more albums: Esa es la vida (2009), Sin cobardía (2011), Infinito (2013), Infinito y más (2017), A mi gente (2021) and Vestida de Chanel (2023). .

Throughout these years his tours have taken him all over the world from Lisbon to Dubai, Havana or Punta Cana. Without forgetting Marbella, Juan Peña is a regular at the Starlite charity gala, or Madrid filling theaters such as the Gran Vía and the Calderon.

Juan Peña is popularly known as the “singer of the stars”. Peña has sung for both millionaires and international artists at private parties such as Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Antonio Banderas, Gary Dourdan, Penélope Cruz, Adam Sandler or Lenny Kravitz.

“They are normal people. Seeing Denzel Washington or DiCaprio asking me on their knees to repeat a song to them shows it. Close, kind, affectionate… Security and personal assistants are worse. When I go to the Dominican Republic they put us up in their mansions. My great secret has always been to see, hear and shut up,” said Juan Peña in a recent interview on LOC on Elmundo.es.

Juan Peña also confesses himself to be very Catholic and one of his dreams came true when he was able to sing before Pope Francis at a reception in the Vatican.
