The county’s buildings division is looking into the matter
A deck collapsed in a restaurant at Tennessee on Saturday, leading to 11 individuals being hospitalized, including two with critical injuries, reports stated.
Amy Maxwell, Who’s a part of the Hamilton County Emergency Management, told News Channel 9 that individuals were at the Zois Restaurant at Soddy-Daisy celebrating a birthday. She told the channel that witnesses told her that the party had been taking a group photograph once the deck gave out.
The report, citing witnesses, said that some dropped about two stories but noted that the data was not supplied by officials in the county. The incident reportedly occurred at roughly 4 p.m. Reports indicated that as many as 40 people may have been on the deck at the time that it collapsed.
WRCB TV reported the county’s buildings department is looking into the matter.
