Will they really face each other in a ring, after the brawl which opposed them at Orly airport? In several messages posted on social networks, and after a few attacks, rappers Booba and Kaaris announced that the MMA (mixed martial arts) fight, supposed to settle their differences, will take place in December 2019 in Geneva.

Okou Gnakouri aka Kaaris, 39, filmed himself on Friday signing a contract on his Instagram account.

Elie Yaffa alias Booba, 42, then reacted on the network: “He signed! I signed! I would have liked it to happen before but the Diva and actress decided otherwise. The main thing is let it happen”.

After many adventures and hundreds of insults exchanged, the fight could thus take place in December, under the leadership of a Swiss promoter of MMA fights, the Strength and Honor Championship. At the end of March, he announced a contract of “1.5 million euros for the winner and 500,000 euros for the loser”. If the fight is obviously planned in this country, it is because MMA remains prohibited in France, even if the minister is considering an evolution.

The negotiation of the details will be “very difficult”, assured the promoter Raid Salah to the Konbini site, the two rappers each having “whims”. “It’s not going to be a technical fight, but two stars in a cage to fight by the rules, it shows that anyone can train and become an MMA fighter instead of fighting on the streets”.

Kaaris and Booba had been sentenced to 18 months suspended prison sentence and 50,000 euros fine for their mayhem at Orly airport last summer. At the beginning of August 2018, the images of this general fight between the two men and nine of their relatives, in the middle of the airport hall and in front of the smartphones of flabbergasted passages, had made the rounds of the media and social networks.
