In addition to direct aids to innovation projects led by SMEs, the Minister has referred to the “Precomercial Public Purchase” and the “Public Buy of Innovation”, which will be equipped with 130 and 220 million euros in 2022.

These resources will help companies to develop advanced prototypes in sectors such as those of energy generation or transport – to obtain returns with them – and that they will have their first user in public administration.

The Spanish Federation of Technology Centers (Fedit) has asked the Government a greater boost to the business R & D + i and more facilities for private financing.
It is two of the ten measures that the Federation has submitted on Wednesday at the act of celebration of its 25th anniversary with the aim of improving the country’s indicators in research, development and innovation.

The act “challenge 2027: towards a new model of R & D + I” in which the activity of technological centers and their participation in Spanish research and innovation is collected.
Spain has 35 technological centers associated with Fedit, in which more than 5,400 people work, of which 4,000 are researchers and have 21,303 customer companies.
In 2019, revenues amounted to 381 million euros.
