Thousands of aspirants compete today Saturday by occupying some of the 6,239 places that the General State Administration (AGE) summoned in May this year.
It is about the most numerous employment offer of 2021, with 4,305 internal promotion stations and another 1,934 of free admission – people who oppose for the first time.

Two years have passed since the last call, which offered 8,102 seats for all of Spain, becoming the largest public employment offer of the age of the last 15 years.
That prepandemic year brought together around 200,000 aspirants, according to the data of the National Institute of Public Administration, according to the world.

This year the proportion is less.
The State figure in more than 100,000 requests to access tests of today’s call – which 28,585 opponents have been submitted – and of the other five scheduled for early 2022, which will add 10,254 more places to the template of the
Age.

Despite the figures, the independent union center of officials (CSIF) criticizes that the offer is insufficient.
According to its estimates, the AGE has lost 43,377 jobs in the last 10 years, in a trend that seems to be increasing if attention is paid to the high aging of its workforce.
This is confirmed by the data of the Statistical Bulletin of the Personnel at the service of the Public Administrations, according to which in January 2019, 68% of the AGE officials were over 50 years old.

The panorama is aggravated in the autonomous communities where the public administration is concentrated, being the clearest case that of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, the CSIF reports.
The union also warns that the position that brings together greater aging of its workforce are administrative administrative and auxiliaries.
For them, 2,950 seats and another 1,050 of management of the Civil Administration of the State are offered today.
In addition, another 200 systems and computer management and 105 of auxiliary computer technicians will be covered.

As an argument on your demand, the CSIF remembers the collapse occurred in the efforts of SEPE and Social Security during the pandemic and calls to prevent the saturation of the public administration with greater resources that reinforce and rejuvenate the workforce.
According to its estimates, to achieve this, the call of 160,000 new places of officials will be necessary.
That is, ten times more of those offered at the moment between today and the beginning of the year.
And, according to Juanjo San Miguel, communication in charge of the union, “if we do not change the trend, we run the risk of endangering the administration model by 10 years.”
