The next day, on Monday, October 18, Spokane police issued a statement to announce that they were investigating the case: “Around 6:30 pm on Sunday we started receiving calls related to pornographic or explicit images that appeared during a forecast
of time on television “.

The authorities shared that the Special Victims Unit and the Technical Assistance Response Unit of the Police Department were dealing with the matter.
They contacted the chain to start an investigation and find out “how the image appeared and where came.”
In addition, they indicated that the aforementioned workers were “cooperating fully in the attempt to determine what happened.”

The statement indicates: “The incident generated numerous calls from citizens worried in the city and in the county. At this time, research is still underway and no guilty of any kind has been determined.”
