Bothenheilingen (dpa/th) – In Bothenheilingen, the extinguishing work continues after the major fire. As the police announced on Thursday, more embers must be extinguished. “Smoke keeps rising,” said a spokeswoman. Therefore, further investigations into the cause of the fire in the four-sided courtyard, which also housed a carpentry shop and which burned down to the foundations, are not possible. The fire brigade continues the extinguishing work with a sprinkler system so that as few traces as possible are destroyed. The fire area in the center of the 450-strong community is also cordoned off with site fences. Police officers secured the scene of the fire.
