Thuringia: Man injured with a knife in an attempt to settle a dispute

Erfurt (dpa/th) – When trying to settle a dispute, a 25-year-old man was injured in the hand with a knife in Erfurt. The man wanted to intervene on Thursday when he became aware that another man had gotten into an argument with his female companion on the street, the police said on Friday. The stranger attacked him with a knife. Despite an immediate search, the man could not be caught. The 25-year-old had to be treated in a hospital. The police are now looking for possible witnesses to the incident.
