Erfurt (dpa/th) – The Thuringian state press conference has a new board. The association of regional political journalists will in future be headed by Sebastian Haak, who works as a freelance journalist for the German Press Agency, among others. Sina Reeder (MDR) will have an eye on the club’s finances in the future. Melanie Haack (ZDF), Fabian Klaus (Funke Medien) and Stefan Hantzschmann (dpa) were elected for the other three board positions on Wednesday evening. The previous board members did not stand again after many years in office. Ulrich Sondermann-Becker (MDR) managed the club for many years. The state press conference, which has more than 40 members, organizes, among other things, background talks with politicians.
