Erfurt (dpa/th) – The trial against three women and six men for drug trafficking on a large scale begins in front of the Erfurt district court on Wednesday (9:00 a.m.). The public prosecutor accuses them of having sold marijuana, cocaine and crystal in a total of 198 cases in alternating participation as a gang in 2020 and 2021. The value of the drugs they allegedly sold is around 800,000 euros.
At least some of the accused are assigned to the right-wing extremist scene. According to the investigation, a house in Ballstädt (Gotha district) is said to have served as the center of the group. There, in 2014, there was a right-wing extremist attack on a fairground company.
In February last year there was a raid on the neo-Nazi milieu. The police took action against the neo-Nazi network “Bruderschaft Thüringen”, which, according to the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution, includes the “Turonen” and “Garde 20” groups.
