Erfurt (dpa/th) – A 34-year-old from the district of Sonneberg was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of serious sexual abuse of children. He is said to have abused the children to produce child pornography, police said on Thursday. Officials had found images and video recordings on the man’s data carriers in connection with another procedure. In addition, the 34-year-old possessed numerous child and youth pornographic files. At the time of the alleged crime, the man lived with his family in Erfurt. The public prosecutor’s office took over the investigation in the case.
