Erfurt (dpa/th) – According to Finance Minister Heike Taubert (SPD), the state’s aid fund for the consequences of the energy crisis and the corona pandemic has a volume of 468 million euros. The bulk of the amount, around 428 million euros, is intended to offset the burden of the sharp rise in energy prices, Taubert said on Tuesday in Erfurt. The money should primarily be a supplement to existing federal aid. That is why the Thuringian ministries are currently working on numerous guidelines according to which state funds will be allocated. Some already exist, including a livelihood security program.
